Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Historo account and personal data, which data is deleted, and which data is kept and for how long. Historo is published by Sapraxis (Thomas Cianfarani EI). For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- The quickest way: delete your account in the app, in Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
- You can also write to privacy@sapraxis.com to delete all or part of your data.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription: cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings first.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open Historo.
- On the Home screen, tap the gear icon at the top of the screen to open Settings.
- Open Privacy.
- Tap Delete account. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you'll be asked to sign in again to confirm that it's you.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.
The menu names appear in the language of your app.
- Uninstalling Historo doesn't delete your account.
- Deleting your account doesn't cancel your subscription. Cancel it first in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings.
- If you use Historo without signing in (anonymous account), deleting the account from the app is the only reliable way: we can't link an email address to an anonymous account.
2. Ask us by email
Write to privacy@sapraxis.com if you can't use the app, if you want us to delete only part of your data (for example your usage statistics or your messages to support), or if you want us to delete the data that account deletion keeps (see below). Please write from, or tell us, the email address of the Google or Apple account you use with Historo; we may ask for more information to confirm that the account is yours. We answer within one month.
3. What is deleted and what is kept

4. Your other rights
You can also ask to access, correct or get a copy of your data, or object to how we use it: see section 10 of our Privacy Policy. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or with the data protection authority of the EU country where you live.
